I am looking for any policies or procedures around presurgical screening of patients who will use Bipap/CPAP perioperatively, consults, placement post surgery and management of equipment. Any would be helpful.

The preop clinic RN instructs the patient to bring their home CPAP unit with them on the day of surgery. The RT and biomed are notified, and check the unit before the patient is discharged from PACU. The CPAP unit then goes with the patient to the in-patient areas.
