Do you have a standard of practice around the frequency and documentation of temperature in Phase II Recovery? Is it the same regardless of the type ofanesthetic (local, regional, neurolept, general)?

Documentation frequency of temperature and other assessments is dependent on the institutional policies.
Common practice is to document a baseline temperature preoperatively. A temperature is alsotaken on arrival and discharge from phase I and phase II recovery, to faciliate assessment of discharge/transfer readiness.
For simplicity, this applies to any type of anesthesia, but is particularly important for procedures where a GA was used, or that lasted longer than 1 hr in duration (most significant temp drop is seen in the 1st hr of Sx).
