Hello all,
what are your policies around administration of Flumazanil in PACU? Is there a minimum observation period after that is required, and how do you typically titrate/admin doses?
We rarely need to give such a benzo reversal.

We are in the midst of revising our conscious sedation policy in OR/PACU,currently we keep them 45 minutes minimum after dose of anexate due to danger of resedation. Merry Christmas!

Hi Leslie
We monitor our patients 30 minutes from the last dose of Flumazenil before transfer. We do not dilute our drug just flush with 5 to 10 cc's after each dose.
